Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the third of four theme parks built by Disney, it was originally opened in 1989 as Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park, and they later changed the name to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2008.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios features 8 sections: Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Sunset Boulevard, Streets of America, Commissary Lane, Pixar Place, Mickey Avenue and Animation Courtyard areas. With popular attractions such as The Muppets' 3D movie, Lights, Motors, Action auto stunt show, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground, Toy Story Midway Mania, Star Tours, Walt Disney retrospective ("One Man's Dream"), Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and the award-winning Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and a dedicated theater for Fantasmic! Disney and Star Wars fans are sure to make this a repeat favorite park!

Star Wars fans can enjoy the park's annual Star Wars Weekends, which are held in May through early June. Included with park admission, the event features meet-and-greets with actors from the various Star Wars movies and TV shows, special merchandise sales and nightly performances of Hyperspace Hoopla, and newly added character dining options which are only available during the special weekends!

During Christmas time you can enjoy the very popular The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights (November–January). The Event takes over the Streets of America during the Christmas season. The display features over five million Christmas lights on more than 350 miles (560 km) of wire, and draws thousands of people every year.
